As a proud member of the Detroit Jiu-Jitsu Syndicate, New Age Jiu-Jitsu Academy is one of nine schools in the Detroit-Windsor area that benefit from this high-level affiliation. Members have the opportunity to not only train at the Windsor location but also cross-train at the Syndicate's headquarters in Dearborn, Michigan, as well as other schools in the area.
Head Coach Darrin D'Amore, a Jiu-Jitsu black belt with over 12 years of martial arts experience, leads the academy. Coach Darrin has competed provincially and internationally, training with some of the world's best. Additionally, the academy offers experienced coaches in wrestling and mixed martial arts to provide a well-rounded training experience.
With an array of classes throughout the week, including Nogi, wrestling, MMA, and kids classes, members have the opportunity to improve their skills and fitness. Private lessons with certified Jiu-jitsu black belts are also available for those seeking personalized instruction.
New Age Jiu-Jitsu Academy offers various membership options, including adult memberships for full access to classes five days a week, kids programs for ages 6 and up, and private lessons for individual coaching.
