This rigorous programme requires a commitment of approximately 30 hours per week, from Tuesday to Saturday. Full-Time Dancers have the opportunity to participate in additional after-school classes, receive personalised coaching, and receive assistance with video auditions, resumes, and photo portfolios. The programme aims to enhance technique, strength, knowledge, and presentation skills, preparing students for a successful career with professional ballet or dance companies.

In addition to its full-time programme, Newcastle Ballet Theatre also offers a Part-Time Programme. This intensive training programme is open to intermediate and advanced dancers, regardless of their academic year, school, or studio affiliation. Operating over 2 days per week, the Part-Time Programme provides focused and comprehensive training to help dancers refine their skills and reach new heights in their artistic journey.

Throughout the year, Newcastle Ballet Theatre organises auditions for both its Full-Time and Part-Time Programmes. Dancers can apply for auditions by appointment or through a video audition. The school welcomes applications at any time and encourages aspiring dancers to take the first step towards their dreams.
