The Niagara Falls Judo Club is a martial arts organization located in the heart of Niagara Falls. Affiliated with the Shin Kaze Aikido Alliance and the Hombu Dojo in Tokyo, Japan, the club is dedicated to the teaching and practice of the Japanese martial art of Aikido.
Spearheaded by Sensei Ray Caldwell, who holds the rank of Nidan, the club offers a range of classes for both adults and children. Sensei Ray began his training in Aikido in 1993 and founded the Niagara Falls Aikikai in 2014. The club originally operated out of the Niagara Falls Judo Club Dojo and later moved to its current location at Kokon Jiu Jitsu Dojo.
At the Niagara Falls Judo Club, students can learn the principles and techniques of Aikido in a welcoming and supportive environment. Adult classes are held at 8pm on various days, while children's classes are offered at 10pm. The club also hosts seminars and events throughout the year to further enhance the learning experience for members.
Membership fees for the club are $60 per month for adults and $50 per month for children (16 and under). Additional fees include an annual SKAA membership fee and a fee for Kyu testing. Dogi uniforms can be purchased for an additional cost, depending on the preferred quality.
