Parent & Tot 2 continues to build on the skills learned in Parent & Tot 1, with an emphasis on water safety and skill development. Infants will work on floating on their front and back, kicking, and gliding with support. Parents/caregivers will continue to practice holds and supports while encouraging their child to explore and enjoy the water.

PARENT & SEA TURTLE (2-3 Years) | SCHEDULE FEES Recommended 2-3 years. Parent & Tot 3 focuses on developing independence and confidence in the water. Children will work on submersion, jumping in with assistance, and kicking on their front and back. Parents/caregivers will continue to provide support and encouragement while their child learns to explore and move independently in the water.

The Nicola Valley Aquatic Centre also offers swimming lessons for children, youth, and adults. Lessons are available for all skill levels, from beginners to advanced swimmers.
