About
Nicole Plant, an experienced yoga instructor from Whitby, North Yorkshire, invites sports players to join her regular Yin Yoga classes at the Green Lane Centre. Having started her journey in movement through dance at the age of four and discovering yoga at eight, Nicole has a solid background in both physical and mindful practises.
Nicole specialises in Yin Yoga, a gentle, calming practise that focuses on holding postures for extended periods. This method helps to relax the body and mind by applying healthy stress to connective tissues and promoting better circulation and flexibility. Yin Yoga also offers mental benefits, such as reducing stress and improving sleep.
Classes are held in a cosy community hall with underfloor heating, creating a comfortable atmosphere for all participants. Please arrive five minutes before the start time and be considerate of fellow students. Book your spot online to ensure availability and reduce cash transactions.
In response to Covid-19, if you have recently been ill or are showing symptoms, please do not attend the class. You can arrange a class exchange with 12 hours' notice. Limited assists will be provided, and you can opt out if needed. All necessary equipment, including mats, is available at the studio.
