The Nikki Ross Memorial Umpire School (NRMUS) at Mississauga North Baseball Association Inc is excited to announce their upcoming annual advanced Umpire Clinic, celebrating its 10th Anniversary Year! This intensive weekend clinic, sanctioned by Baseball Ontario, is open to umpires from all associations looking to enhance their skills in contemporary techniques, procedures, mechanics, and rule interpretations.
The clinic offers OBA Level 1 and 2 Certification through a combination of on-field and in-class components. Led by Baseball Canada Certified Course Conductors, participants can expect approximately 20 hours of instruction over the weekend. This includes classroom sessions on rules & rule interpretations, as well as practical on-field mechanics, drills, and positioning.
Located at St. Barbara Elementary School in Mississauga, the clinic will run from Friday, April 12 to Sunday, April 14, 2024. The cost is $175, with an additional $25 carding cost for Level 1 and $45 carding cost for Level 2. Payment is due at sign-in on April 12 and includes a Pizza Lunch on both Saturday and Sunday, along with healthy snacks and water throughout the weekend.
