Nikki discovered yoga as a teenager and initially saw it as a purely physical practise. However, as she delved deeper into her practise, she realised the profound emotional, mental, and spiritual support and transformation it brought. This realisation led her on a journey to explore the ancient art, philosophy, and science of yoga. Through her commitment to the practise, Nikki has developed the tools to shape her life and find a sense of all-pervading peace.

Nikki's background in Criminology and her work with individuals facing addiction and mental health challenges have given her a unique perspective on holding space for others. As she delved deeper into her yoga practise, Nikki found inspiration and guidance from the Devon School of Yoga, where she completed her 500-hour teacher training. Drawing from Uma-Dinsmore Tuli's feminine approach and the rich lineage of Kriya Yoga, Nikki weaves these elements together in her teachings.

Nature serves as Nikki's greatest inspiration, as she believes that we can learn something about ourselves and our true nature from observing the changing seasons, the cycles of the moon, and the flow of a river. This perspective shapes her holistic approach to yoga, where she believes in nourishing the physical, mental, and spiritual self through practises such as asana, pranayama, kriya, do-in, dhyana, shavasana, and nidra. By connecting to the energy that moves through everything, Nikki believes that alignment with the natural order of things leads to eternal peace.

Nikki embraces the demands of motherhood, as she balances her yoga practise and teaching with raising her children. Through her personal experience, she has refined practises that bring her peace and rejuvenation in the shortest amount of time. Nikki aims to pass on these skills to her students, recognising the pressures of daily life and the need for mini practises alongside spacious ones.
