Noreen's own journey with Pilates began after she gave birth and started experiencing severe back pain. Struggling with daily activities such as walking and getting out of bed, she sought various methods to relieve the pain. While many methods provided short-term relief, it was Pilates that truly changed her life. This personal experience led Noreen to become a Pilates teacher and share the benefits of this practise with others.
At NIM Pilates, clients can expect to see significant improvements in their everyday lives. Pilates helps improve posture, alignment, breathing, core strength, and movement, making it an effective tool for preventing injuries. Noreen offers mat Pilates classes that cater to everyone's busy schedule, with a variety of group classes and specialised programmes throughout the day. The studio's top priority is the mental and physical health of its clients, and Noreen and her team are dedicated to helping clients make the most out of their time.
One specialised programme offered at NIM Pilates is the Back4Good class. Back pain is a common issue, with up to 8 in every 10 people in the UK experiencing it at some point in their lives. The Back4Good class focuses on strengthening and improving flexibility in the muscles that support the back. General Practitioners have backed up the effectiveness of regular Pilates practise for improving posture, muscle tone, balance, and joint mobility.
Noreen teaches these classes in small groups of 8–12 people, allowing her to tailor the sessions to individual needs. All equipment is provided, and Noreen also offers personalised 1-1 or duet sessions upon request.
