About
Hey everyone,
Rick here, with some exciting updates about Kivi Park in Sudbury! If you're looking for a winter activity, you should definitely check out Nina's Way Skating Path. This 1.3 km path weaves through the beautiful birch trees of the park, offering a unique skating experience. The path is lit with LED lights, making it perfect for evening skates.
To add to the fun, there's music playing along the way. It’s open every day from 11am to 9pm, and all you need is a day pass to join in. With natural bumps and grades, it’s a bit challenging, but that just makes it more fun for seasoned skaters. Just remember to check the trail conditions before heading out.
Rick also wants to remind you that Kivi Park is more than just a skating path. It’s a year-round destination with trails for hiking, biking, snowshoeing, and skiing. Families can enjoy playgrounds, basketball courts, and more. It’s really got something for everyone.
Located on Long Lake Road off the Trans-Canada Hwy, Kivi Park is easy to get to. Whether you're in the mood for a skate, a hike, or just want to take in the scenery, Kivi Park has you covered. Rick hopes to see you there enjoying Nina's Way and everything else the park has to offer.
