John, the organiser, welcomes you to Nintai Karate Club, nestled in Cromer. Since its establishment in 2003, the club has aimed to revive self-defence as a physical and spiritual practice. John invites everyone to start a journey with Nintai and explore the many benefits it offers.
One of the club's key features is its experienced instructor, boasting over 40 years of expertise. Regardless of your experience level, all fitness levels and ages are welcome to attend classes. John has fostered a family-like atmosphere, ensuring everyone feels at home.
Nintai Karate Club has Dojos in Potters Bar and Cromer, offering convenient access to members. The club provides traditional and intelligent martial arts training at reasonable prices, upholding high standards in every session. Classes help build self-esteem, relieve stress, and maintain fitness, all while making each session challenging and enjoyable.
John values personal development, offering parent and child classes and special courses for beginners and ladies’ self-defence. Every instructor is CRB checked for added reassurance. A FREE introductory lesson is also available to give newcomers a taste of the training experience.
The club practises Shotokan karate, founded by Master Gichin Funakoshi, the father of modern karate. Shotokan focuses on three elements: Kata (form), Kihon (basics), and Kumite (sparring). Mastering these prepares participants for defensive and counter-attacking moves both inside and outside the dojo.
At Nintai Karate Club, John believes that karate can enhance overall well-being by harmonising mind and body, leading to self-awareness and development of physical and mental strength. The aim is to teach a life skill that benefits participants now and in the future.
In addition to karate, the club offers practical self-defence classes that build inner strength and confidence, using karate techniques to improve reactions and awareness.
