The team at Nishikan Martial Arts consists of experienced instructors who are dedicated to providing the best training experience. Chief Instructor, Paul Hacker, along with Deputy Chief Instructors, Brett Jacobs and Steve Mortley, have over 90 years of combined experience in martial arts.

In 2018, Paul, Brett, and Steve formed Nishikan to create an association that embraces a more modern and inclusive approach to martial arts training. With their brand new curriculum, they have updated karate for the modern age.

The club is housed in a purpose-built dojo in Wincanton, Somerset, which serves as the main headquarters.
