Back in the day, Bob decided to start a fundraising campaign to build an indoor bowling facility. Fast forward a couple of years, and thanks to a lot of hard work from the team and the local community, the Northampton and District Indoor Bowling Association opened its doors in January 1986.
Since then, the club has gone from strength to strength, now boasting over 700 members. Everyone’s welcome here, whether you're a bowling pro or just fancy giving it a go. It’s a friendly place with a proper warm atmosphere.
The facilities are top-notch with 8 rinks, loads of spectator space, changing rooms, and lockers. Feeling peckish or fancy a drink? DG Taylors runs the bar with plenty of drink options, and Hearty Cuisine serves up tasty homemade grub daily.
Youngsters aren't left out either, with a thriving junior section offering top-level coaching and plenty of chances to compete. Whether you’re into league games or just a friendly match, there’s something for everyone all year round, with extra hours in the winter. The summer schedule is packed too, with sessions most evenings.
