Hi Team,

Arpi here from North Harbour Kyokushin Training. Just wanted to drop you a quick note about what we've got going on at the dojo. We're based in Auckland and focus on traditional Kyokushin Karate. Our doors are always open to anyone - young and old, guys and gals, from all walks of life.

When you step into our dojo, you’ll notice we’re big on real fighting—something our founder, Mas Oyama, was pretty passionate about. He believed you can't really prove your skills without it. We’re here to test ourselves, push our limits, and build trust and respect.

We’ve got something for everyone. Our fees won’t break the bank, with monthly options for adults and term fees for kids. And hey, we've got a fair bit of bragging rights—loads of competition wins at every level over the past five years.

Leading the charge, we have Sensei Arpi, a 3rd Dan, running the show as our Dojo Operator, and Senpai Cruz Wilson, a 1st Dan, helping out as an instructor. These guys know their stuff and are here to guide you every step of the way.

We offer a mix of classes. Join us for the Fighting Fit Class on Sundays, where we work on fitness and kumite skills, or drop by on Mondays for the Traditional Karate Class, which is our bread and butter. If you’re new, just pop in with some comfy exercise gear. Our regulars know the drill – clean and tidy uniforms, always.

We also keep an informative blog where we share our thoughts on Karate training and philosophy. We believe in building a supportive community while providing top-notch training.
