Welcome to Northlakes Junior Rugby Club, home of the Pirates! The club is located in Budgewoi and offers a vibrant and inclusive rugby community for players of all ages and skill levels.
2021 was a challenging year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but the club managed to squeeze in a few rounds before lockdown. However, the 2022 season is now in full swing, and the Pirates are excited to get back on the field. Despite the wet and muddy conditions, the club is determined to provide a fun and competitive rugby experience for all participants.
The Northlakes Junior Rugby Club is incredibly grateful for the support it has received from the local community. The club would like to extend a warm thank you to its sponsors, including DMC as their first major sponsor for 2022. Other sponsors such as The Beachie, Ainsworth Accounting, BTK Transport, Coast Care Support, Colonial Plumbing and Drainage, JAWO designs, Loop, Rycal Hunt Builders, Wiseberry, and The Lakes Rugby have also provided invaluable support. Their contributions allow the club to offer free rugby for U5-U7 age groups and subsidise registration fees for older age groups.
Additionally, the sponsors enable the club to offer free shorts and socks to all players, purchase team jerseys and equipment, and organise various events throughout the year to foster team bonding and a strong family culture.
In 2022, the Northlakes Junior Rugby Club is excited to provide all registered kids with a free training shirt. This is made possible by the generous support of their sponsors.
