Rob Bird, the organiser of North Lincs Kickboxing Academy in Scunthorpe, would like to extend a warm invitation to the local sports community. The academy offers a wide range of classes and training sessions for both juniors and adults, aiming to promote health, fitness, self-defence, and respect for others while keeping the training engaging.
Rob, a 5th Dan black belt and the Chief Instructor, leads a team of experienced instructors. Assisting him are Mark Flippance and Colin Livingstone, both 3rd Dan black belts, and David Smith, a 2nd Dan black belt. All instructors hold full insurance through BMABA and Enhanced DBS clearance.
A notable highlight for the academy is their own Spencer, who has secured a place in the IBKO GB team, reflecting the high standard of training provided.
Training sessions are conducted at Unit 3C, Roxby Road Industrial Estate, Enterprise Way in Winterton, Scunthorpe. The facilities are well-equipped for kickboxing and other self-defence disciplines.
Rob encourages individuals of all ages and skill levels to come along and try their first session for free. The academy prides itself on a supportive and inclusive atmosphere, making it a great environment to learn and grow.
