Northside Traditional Taekwon-Do

Taekwon-Do existed in Korea. After the war, these kwans were unified by General Choi Hong Hi, who developed the modern system of Taekwon-Do that we practise today. Taekwon-Do has since spread worldwide and is recognised as an Olympic sport.

Northside Traditional Taekwon-Do is proud to uphold the traditional values and techniques of this Korean martial art. The club has been operating for over 10 years and is dedicated to providing a supportive and safe environment for students to learn and excel in Taekwon-Do.

One of the unique features of NTTKD is the high teacher-to-student ratio. All teaching is conducted by experienced black belt practitioners, ensuring that students receive proper guidance and instructions from knowledgeable individuals. This approach allows students to learn techniques correctly the first time and provides them with ongoing challenges to progress their skills.

The club usually conducts training at Gungahlin Enclosed Oval, Warwick Street, Gungahlin ACT. Face-to-face lessons are scheduled to recommence on Tuesday 7th July, where students will be required to bring their own packet of wipes to maintain hygiene protocols. In the meantime, students are encouraged to continue practising patterns, techniques, and kicks at home.
