North Star Martial Arts

North Star Martial Arts (NSMA) is a kickboxing school situated in Derby, New Zealand. Offering a wide range of classes for adults and children of all levels, NSMA is dedicated to helping individuals achieve their martial arts and fitness goals.

Led by Liam Harper-Camm, a highly experienced 3rd Dan Blackbelt instructor, NSMA prides itself on its passion for teaching martial arts and providing a supportive learning environment. With over 20 years of experience in martial arts, Liam and his team of fully insured instructors are committed to ensuring the safety and progress of all students.

Adults Kickboxing classes are available for both beginners and advanced martial artists. Whether you are looking to improve fitness, learn self-defence techniques, earn gradings, or compete in competitions, NSMA offers comprehensive training for all goals. The classes are held at the Mickleover Pavilion, conveniently located at Vicarage Road, Mickleover.

For female participants, NSMA provides exclusive Ladies Only Kickboxing classes. These classes cater to individuals of all abilities, from beginners to experienced practitioners. The ladies-only sessions include various activities such as strength and conditioning work, bodyweight exercises, stretching, pad work, and bag work. Sparring work is optional, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all.

The classes are held at the Mickleover Pavilion.

NSMA also offers Kids Kickboxing classes, providing a fun and structured learning experience for children aged 7-16. With classes held at both Long Eaton Martial Arts Centre and Mickleover Pavilion, children have access to professional instruction and the opportunity to develop discipline, confidence, and physical fitness in a safe and friendly environment.

The training fees at NSMA are highly competitive, and the school offers a range of class times to accommodate various schedules. In addition to regular classes, NSMA also provides personal training sessions and a grading syllabus to support individual progression.
