In addition to traditional karate training, Norwich Karate Academy also emphasises competition karate. Norwich Karate Academy was established in 2021 by Matthew Yardy, a highly experienced karate instructor with a 5th Dan black belt. We are affiliated with JKS England, the English branch of JKS, and a member of the English Karate Federation (EKF), which is the country's largest competition governing body. Additionally, the EKF is a member of the World Karate Federation (WKF), the organisation recognised by the International Olympic Committee.
