Welcome to the official website of NSW Fiji Rugby Union (NSWFRU). NSWFRU is a sports club based in Sydney, Australia, with a vision to be the home for talented Fijian athletes living abroad. The club provides a platform for these individuals to excel in their chosen sport and supports their holistic development through spiritual, coaching, and sports programmes tailored to their needs and aspirations.

NSWFRU has achieved remarkable success in various competitions over the years. In 2018, they were crowned the NRC Pasifika Cup Champions, while in 2017 they emerged victorious in the Scone Women's Rugby 7s Bowl and the NRC Pasifika Cup. They were runners-up in the Queanbeyan 7s in the same year. NSWFRU also won the NRC Pasifika Cup, Pacific Competition Cup, Crescent Head 7s, and Dubbo 7s in 2016.

The organisational leadership of NSW Fiji Rugby Union is committed to fostering internal leadership and accountable governance. In 2016, they engaged the assistance of external consultants to develop a marketing strategy and ensure corporate governance. The establishment of a board of directors further enhanced the management and oversight of the organisation. Importantly, all positions on the board are open to individuals regardless of their Fijian heritage or ethnicity, as NSWFRU values diversity and strategic thinking within its leadership and membership.

NSWFRU actively engages with grassroots communities and tailors its programmes to meet the diverse needs and aspirations of its members. The club, established in August 2016, operates as an independent not-for-profit body, focusing on player development and pathways for individuals of Fijian heritage living in New South Wales and the ACT.

The board of directors at NSWFRU is led by President Edwin Chan, with Lizann Vailasi serving as Secretary and Apenisa Rokobaro as Treasurer. Iqbal Akhtar and Naomi Roberts are also board members, contributing to the strategic direction of the club.
