Shelagh is one of the co-founders of Nurture Saddleworth Yoga & Therapy Centre and brings her expertise as a McTimoney Chiropractor and Therapeutic Yoga Instructor to the team. With a passion for holistic wellness, Shelagh believes in the power of aligning the body and mind to achieve optimal health. She provides gentle and effective chiropractic care, utilising the McTimoney technique, which focuses on the whole body and its connexion to the nervous system.

Additionally, Shelagh is a certified yoga instructor, specialising in therapeutic yoga. She guides students through practise that combines movement, breathwork, and mindfulness to promote physical and mental well-being. Her classes are suitable for all levels and aim to create a safe and nurturing space for students to explore their own body's potential.

Sophie, the other co-founder of Nurture, brings her skills as an acupuncturist and health counsellor to the centre. She believes in a holistic approach to health, addressing not only physical symptoms but also the emotional, mental, and spiritual aspects of a person's well-being. Sophie is dedicated to helping individuals achieve balance and harmony in their lives through acupuncture and health counselling.

As an acupuncturist, Sophie uses thin needles to stimulate specific points on the body, aiming to restore balance and promote healing. She treats a wide range of conditions, including pain management, stress, fertility issues, digestive disorders, and more. Sophie's gentle and compassionate approach ensures that each session is tailored to the unique needs of her patients.

In addition to acupuncture, Sophie offers health counselling, providing guidance and support in areas such as nutrition, lifestyle changes, and stress management. She believes that empowering individuals with the knowledge and tools to take control of their own health is essential for long-term well-being.
