Dave O'Connor, the organiser at Nutley Football Club, wants to share a quick note with everyone in our sports community.
Nutley FC, nestled in Uckfield, has been around since 1890. With a focus on creating a fun and inclusive space, Nutley offers a way for folks of all ages and backgrounds to play, volunteer, and support football. Fords Green is where it all happens, and the club is proudly linked up with the Sussex County Football Association and a couple of local leagues.
We’ve got one senior team, Nutley Men's, and two junior squads, Nutley Mixed U11s and U9s. There’s also the Wildcats for girls in primary school. Fancy coming along to cheer us on? You’re more than welcome. Fixture lists are up on the team pages of our website - go have a look.
Dave wants to give a shout-out to our dedicated volunteers – they’re the heart and soul of Nutley FC. If anyone's keen to muck in, do get in touch.
Respect is a big deal for us. Everyone – whether you’re a player, coach, volunteer, or just here to watch – is expected to play fair and follow the FA Respect codes of conduct. All the details are on the website.
Our Men’s team has a cracking bunch of lads, including Ben, DJ, Luke, Tom, and Callum, just to name a few. The team is steered by coaches Ben and Scott. Andy Tester and Mark Hillen sort out the fixtures, making sure everything runs smoothly, and Peter, our linesman, keeps the games in check.
Nutley FC competes in the Mid-Sussex Football League Division 3 South. You can keep track of our position on the league table on our website, along with upcoming fixtures and recent results.
A massive thanks goes out to our sponsors like Grey Hooper Holt LLP – their support keeps us going strong.
