They've got it all - from rental gear to instructor-led sessions for those new to the game. Just drop in during normal opening hours and hit those walls – no booking needed! 🤸♀️ Kids under 18, make sure you have an adult to keep an eye on you.
For the newcomers or anyone needing a bit of guidance, Oakwood has fab instructor-led sessions, birthday parties, and group climbs starting from age 4. Check out the website for details and booking info.
Dale’s team makes sure everyone can afford to climb, with various pricing options, including monthly passes for regular climbers and day passes for the casuals. Don’t forget to stop by their shop for all your climbing essentials.
Opening times are designed to suit different age groups:
- Ages 7-14: Monday to Friday, 10am-7pm
- Ages 14+: Monday to Friday, until 10pm
- Saturdays, Sundays, and bank holidays: 10am-6pm or 10am-3pm, depending on your age
For the little ones aged 4-14, there’s a special area with its own timings.

We run bouldering and climbing for under 18s, including birthday parties, the Roots Youth Group, and home education sessions. For adults, we offer adult courses and adult socials.
