After becoming a mother myself, I realised how important it was to create a supportive community for women during the pre and postnatal journey. I completed my Prenatal and Postnatal Yoga teacher training and joined forces with Jenni to create Offspring Yoga.
At Offspring Yoga, we offer prenatal and postnatal yoga classes specifically designed for active women in Canberra. Our classes are physically challenging to keep you feeling strong, but they are also modified to be safe for the stage of your pregnancy or motherhood journey. We focus on building strength to assist in an active labour, teaching skills and tools to respond to the challenges of labour and motherhood, and connecting with like-minded women.
Our classes are held at two convenient locations: Wild Studio in Phillip and Illeso Studio in Aranda. We have chosen these spaces because they align with the values of community, support, and wellness that we strive to create at Offspring Yoga.
Jenni's personal journey with yoga has taught her the importance of listening to her body, being present, and utilising her vital energy. She completed her 200-hour teacher training course and began teaching yoga immediately. After experiencing the positive effects of her yoga practise during the birth of her first son, she felt a deep calling to specialise in prenatal and postnatal yoga. She completed her Prenatal and Postnatal Yoga teacher training during her maternity leave and founded Offspring Yoga to share the benefits of yoga with other mothers.
Beth's love for movement and the outdoors initially drew her to yoga. However, through a regular practise, she discovered the profound impact that yoga had on her mental health. Yoga philosophy transformed her perspective on life and provided her with the tools to navigate challenges. Becoming a mother only deepened her commitment to sharing yoga with others, and she completed her Prenatal and Postnatal Yoga teacher training to join forces with Jenni and create Offspring Yoga.
At Offspring Yoga, we believe that every woman deserves a positive and empowering experience during pregnancy, birth, and motherhood.
