Ōhope Beach Football Club runs community football in Ōhope Beach for kids aged 5 to 13 and for senior men, with a women's team launching for 2026. Junior training runs after school during the week, with games every Saturday during terms 2 and 3. Senior football runs roughly from April to September, with pre-season training starting in summer. The club is family-friendly and volunteer-run, based at Bluett Park.
