Oliver's Nest Men's League at Oliver's Nest Golf Club in Oakwood, Canada offers players a fun and competitive amateur golf experience every Thursday. The league features a variety of weekly competitions, including challenges for closest to the pin, low gross and net scores, deuce pot for a chance to win some cash, as well as gross and net skins.
In addition to the regular competitions, the league also has scramble weeks with special prizes for closest to the pin and the top three teams, along with parimutuel wagering for some extra excitement. Towards the end of the season, there is a grand scramble event followed by a banquet to celebrate another successful year.
Public players are welcome to join the league and benefit from reduced green fees on league days. While the league typically plays 9 holes, participants have the option to play 18 if they prefer, as long as they turn in their scorecard after 9 holes of league play.
