Omokoroa Football Club

Omokoroa Football Club is a well-established soccer club based in the seaside town of Omokoroa, New Zealand. The club represents not only Omokoroa but also neighbouring areas like Pahoia, Whakamarama, and Te Puna. Helen has always emphasised community pride and encourages all members, from players to supporters, to respect the game, its rules, and everyone involved.

The club offers teams for all age groups and skill levels. Minis Football is for kids aged 4 to 7, while the Junior/Youth division caters to those aged 8-13, competing with other local clubs under WAIBOP Football Federation. There's also social football for men and women, creating a welcoming space for everyone.

Since 1984, Omokoroa Football Club has been a key player in the local soccer scene. With the recent opening of the Omokoroa Sports Pavilion in May 2020, the club's facilities have only improved. Helen and her team are grateful for the volunteers who keep everything running smoothly.

To make things easier for members, the club uses Friendly Manager—a platform for signing in, completing paperwork, and staying updated with club news and events. It’s a simple way to keep everything organised.
