“OM” Time Yoga is a boutique-style studio located in Busselton, Australia that offers a welcoming and authentic yoga practise to individuals of all levels and backgrounds. The studio is owned and led by Melanie McDaniel, a highly experienced yoga teacher who completed her Yoga Teacher Training in Goa, India at Himalaya Yoga Valley in 2011.
Melanie's extensive background in the fitness industry, coupled with her personal experiences with injuries and mental health struggles, has given her a deep understanding of physiology, anatomy, and the power of yoga in self-healing and returning to wholeness. Her journey with postnatal depression and ongoing bouts of depression has enabled her to empathise with her students and witness firsthand the transformative effects of yoga on mental and emotional well-being.
With a strong foundation in traditional Ashtanga and Hatha Yoga, Melanie has also expanded her knowledge through further teacher trainings with renowned instructors such as Jo Phee, Donna Farhi, and Simon Borg Oliver. Currently, she teaches Hatha Vinyasa flow, Yang Rejuvenate, and Yin yoga classes at “OM” Time Yoga Studio, making it accessible for practitioners of all levels.
” Come as you are, leave in Peace” is the studio's motto, encouraging individuals with busy minds and tight bodies to come and experience the peace and relaxation that yoga offers. With classes that run for a generous 80–90 minutes, students have ample time to calm their minds and energise their bodies, allowing for increased clarity and numerous physical benefits such as strength, flexibility, agility, and balance.
”OM" Time Yoga believes that yoga goes beyond the physical practise and emphasises on nourishing one's mental, emotional, and spiritual health. As students engage in yoga postures, breathing techniques, and meditation, they awaken their awareness and develop a deeper level of self-understanding.
