The Ookami Karatedo Club, located in London, was founded in 2009 by Sensei Jeff Kilbourn. As a proud member of the Canadian Shorinjiryu Kudaka Karate-Do Federation, the club follows the Shorinjiryu style of karate developed in Okinawa by Dr. Kori Hisataka. This style of karate is known for its innovations in training methods and focus on spiritual development of individuality in mind and body.
The club offers classes at two locations on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The classes at East Carling Public School on Tuesdays cater to students of all belt levels, while the classes at Sir Arthur Currie Public School on Thursdays are for Yellow belts and above. Both locations offer free classes for students looking to learn and improve their karate skills.
Registration is open for the 2023-2024 season, welcoming adults, teens, and youth Grade 2 and above (7 years and older). New students are encouraged to join the classes, with registration forms available on the club's website.
