Oriental Rongotai Football Club, affectionately known as Ories, is a rugby club located in Wellington, New Zealand. Established in 1888, it is now the only rugby club in the Miramar Peninsula. The club is situated at The Polo Grounds on Park Rd, Miramar, and has strong links with the local community and schools, including Rongotai College and Scots College.
Ories offers rugby opportunities for all ages and skill levels. Their junior rugby programme covers Nursery grade (4 and under) up to Under 13 grade, providing teams for all young players. The club also has a strong senior club, with leading 1 and 2, Colts, and President grade teams. Orienta Rongotai Football Club has a rich history and has formed a strong alliance with Rongotai College, a local secondary school. The club has provided resources and coaching personnel to the school, and in return, Rongotai has produced notable players such as All Blacks Ma'a Nonu and Julian & Ardie Savea, as well as New Zealand Sevens Representative Roy Kinikinilau.
