Fiona Dempsey, the owner and instructor at Orion Studio Pilates, has a deep-rooted passion for Pilates. After discovering the method while recovering from major surgery in 2006, Fiona left her successful career in Real Estate Project Marketing and pursued her passion for Pilates. She received her full Diploma of Professional Pilates Instruction through Polestar Pilates Australia, establishing a successful Pilates studio on the Gold Coast before returning to Darwin permanently. Fiona's diverse background and experience in the industry allow her to tailor sessions to individual needs and collaborate with other Allied Health Professionals to help clients achieve their goals.
Orion Studio Pilates offers various session types to cater to different preferences and needs. Studio sessions provide a personalised approach with a ratio of 3 or 4 clients per teacher. Using state-of-the-art Pilates equipment and apparatus, these sessions are designed to address your body's unique requirements. Private sessions, on the other hand, offer a 45-minute session with Fiona's undivided attention.
Exercises are tailored to your specific body and mind, resulting in improved technique, execution, body awareness, and faster progression in strength, flexibility, and injury recovery. Semi-private sessions are taught according to individual needs and progress exercises as you gain more strength and control.
