Oxford Kung Fu Academy

Welcome to the Oxford Kung Fu Academy, a leading martial arts school dedicated to improving mental health, physical ability, and fighting effectiveness. With a combination of traditional and modern techniques, principles, and tools, we provide a well-rounded training programme that caters to individuals of all ages and skill levels.

Our timetable offers a range of classes throughout the week. On Monday nights, we start with a Tai Chi class at 6:30 pm, followed by a Kung Fu class at 7:30 pm, and an Advanced class at 8:30 pm. Thursday nights feature a Kung Fu class at 7:30 pm and an Advanced class at 8:30 pm. Finally, on Sunday nights, we offer a Tumbling class at 5:00 pm, followed by a Tai Chi class at 6:00 pm.

In our Kung Fu classes, you will learn exercises and routines that build strength, agility, and graceful fighting principles. These classes provide a solid foundation for your martial arts journey. Our Advanced classes focus on practical applications, fencing techniques, and tumbling skills, allowing you to explore and apply what you have learned in a more advanced setting.

For those interested in a softer style of martial arts, our Tai Chi classes offer a slower-paced environment with a focus on energy conservation and the transfer of weight. These classes provide an excellent opportunity to improve balance, flexibility, and mindfulness.

You can join our training sessions on Mondays, Thursdays, and Sundays at the Asian Cultural Centre, located at Manzil Way, Oxford, OX4 1GH. We have a convenient schedule to accommodate various lifestyles and commitments.

When it comes to pricing, we offer both adhoc classes and monthly payment options. The adhoc classes are priced at 10 per class for each session or 7 for concessions. If you prefer a more structured approach, our tiered system allows you to pay monthly. Tier 1 costs 30 per month for one class a week (25 for concessions), Tier 2 is 55 per month for two classes a week (30 for concessions), and Tier 3 is 80 per month for access to all classes (35 for concessions).

Concessionary members are students or anyone who is unemployed.

Please note that an annual membership fee of 18 is required for participation in sparring classes.
