The Paddle All program at Maskwa Aquatic Club is a fantastic opportunity for individuals with intellectual disabilities to experience the thrill of paddling in a safe and inclusive environment. Whether you're paddling in a dragon boat or a stable kayak, you're sure to have a blast on the water.
Participants must be of the specified age range and bring their own certified PFD (life jacket) each week. Parents or caregivers are required to stick around during practice sessions, but no prior experience is necessary to join in on the fun.
The program runs on Wednesday and Friday evenings throughout the summer, kicking off on June 5th and wrapping up on August 16th, 2024. Plus, there's a Fall session on Monday evenings in the works (dates to be confirmed).
Oh, and the best part? The Paddle All program is completely free of charge, thanks to the generosity of Maskwa Aquatic Club. Registration for the Summer 2024 session opens on April 1st, so mark your calendars and get ready for an unforgettable paddling experience!
