Bob, the organiser of Painswick Bowls Club, wanted to share some exciting news with the sports community. Located in the heart of Painswick, Stroud, the club offers a fantastic opportunity to dive into lawn bowls amidst the serene surroundings of the Cotswolds.
The club’s green is top-notch, providing a perfect playing surface for everyone, whether you're a member or just visiting. Members regularly take part in friendly matches, including the much-anticipated Inter Village Street Competition. Touring teams are also welcomed, giving everyone a chance to mix with bowlers from different areas.
If you've been thinking about giving lawn bowls a go, Bob and the rest of the club are here to help. Just approach a member at the Green or get in touch with one of the Club Contacts. They'll sort you out with all the gear and even offer free instruction. All you need is a pair of flat-soled shoes.
