Welcome to Pakenham Karate Academy, located in the heart of Pakenham. Our goal is to provide effective karate instruction in a safe and welcoming environment. We cater to students of all ages, from 4 years old to adults, and our classes are designed to accommodate different skill levels.

Established in November 2011, Pakenham Karate Academy is a family-run business operated by Senseis Alex and Dalila, along with their two sons, Dylan and Josh. We take pride in maintaining clean and safe training facilities, which include a fully matted training area, male and female change rooms, a warm-up room, and a comfortable viewing area for parents to watch their children train. Our centre is equipped with central heating and cooling to ensure a comfortable experience for our students.

As qualified instructors, we hold Working with Children Checks and First Aid Level 2 qualifications, guaranteeing the safety and welfare of our students. Our karate syllabus is based on traditional karate principles, with a strong emphasis on kihon (basics) and kata (forms). In addition, self-defence and fitness play important roles in our karate teachings.

At Pakenham Karate Academy, we foster a supportive and motivating environment for all of our students. Through our guidance, they not only develop positive self-esteem and self-discipline but also gain confidence and courage, becoming strong individuals both mentally and physically.

We offer a variety of classes tailored to different age groups and skill levels. Our “Kindas” programme is designed for children aged 4–5 years, focusing on basic motor skills and coordination. Our “Juniors” programme serves children aged 6–12 years, teaching them fundamental karate techniques as well as instilling discipline and respect. For adults and teenagers aged 13 and above, our “Adults/Teens” classes provide a challenging yet rewarding experience.
