Pakuranga Bowling Club

Set in the beautiful Lloyd Elsmore Park. Our natural and artificial greens have been meticulously maintained and are considered some of the best in Auckland. They have hosted a range of bowling events at the international, national, regional, and local levels.

The architect-designed clubhouse and bar offer a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our members and guests. We take pride in our excellent facilities, which include spacious seating areas, comfortable lounges, and a well-stocked bar. Whether you're a bowler or a social member, you'll find a friendly and inviting environment at Pakuranga Bowls Club.

With over 200 members, we are one of Auckland's largest lawn bowls clubs. We cater to bowlers of all abilities, from social beginners to competitive players. For those who wish to improve their skills, we offer free coaching sessions. Our experienced members are always happy to share their knowledge and provide guidance and encouragement.

Pakuranga Bowls Club is highly competitive, with three men's and three women's Interclub sides. We are the preferred choice of several Auckland representative bowlers. However, we also value the social aspect of the sport and provide opportunities for mid-week roll-ups and weekend competition events.

Membership at the club is open to both playing and non-playing (social) members. Social members can enjoy all the facilities of the club, except for full use of the green. They are an integral part of our club community and contribute to the vibrant atmosphere.

If you're interested in becoming a member, we invite you to visit the club and have a look around. Visitors are always welcome, and during the summer months, you can watch games of bowls while enjoying the comfortable seating areas around the green. Membership applications can be downloaded from our website, and our friendly staff are available to assist new bowlers in getting started.

In addition to our regular bowls fixtures, we also host a variety of events and functions. Our facilities are available for hire, whether you're planning a private celebration or a corporate event. You can enjoy the picturesque surroundings of Lloyd Elsmore Park while making use of our playing greens, club bar, and function spaces.
