Outer Limits Adventure Centre is excited to present the Paluma Ultra, a thrilling 52 km ultramarathon trail run happening on Saturday, 26th October 2024. This event is perfect for those seeking a challenge both physically and mentally in the breathtaking World Heritage listed Wet Tropics region of Paluma Range National Park.
Participants will be treated to a course filled with diverse terrain, from lush rainforest to open eucalypt forests and cattle country. With a minimal amount of paved roads, runners will get to experience a wide variety of trails including single tracks and old logging roads that highlight the area's rich history.
Starting at 6am at Gumburu Environmental Education Centre and finishing at Paluma Village Green, this event promises to be a memorable experience for all those involved. Registration opens at 5am, so be sure to get there early to check-in.
Entry fees for this one-of-a-kind event are $129 for general registration. Latecomers can still join in for $149 starting from 5th October. Please note that participants must be 18 years or older at the time of the event.
