Classes: We offer samba dance classes for all levels, from beginners to advanced. Our experienced instructors teach traditional samba dance moves and techniques, providing a fun and energetic atmosphere for participants to learn and enjoy.

Drumming: Our Bateria (drumming) classes are a key component of our school. We provide instruction on various samba percussion instruments, including drums, tamborims, and agogs. Participants learn how to play different rhythms and develop their skills in creating lively and dynamic samba beats.

Song: Samba is not complete without vocals. In our song classes, participants learn traditional samba songs and practise singing in harmony. Our experienced vocal instructors help students improve their singing skills and perform with confidence.

Carnival Arts: We offer workshops and classes in carnival arts, including costume and float design. Participants have the opportunity to learn about the rich history and traditions of Brazilian carnival, and get hands-on experience in creating vibrant and elaborate costumes and floats for our performances.

Community Involvement: At Paraiso Samba, we believe in the power of samba to bring people together. We actively involve young people and seniors in all our activities, fostering a sense of inclusivity and community. We provide opportunities for individuals of all ages and backgrounds to develop their skills in samba and participate in our performances and events.

Performances: We showcase our talents at carnivals, festivals, and other events all over the UK and Europe. Our performances are known for their vibrant energy, colourful costumes, and infectious rhythms. We bring the spirit of Brazilian samba to audiences, providing entertainment and spreading joy wherever we go.

Authenticity: One of our key strengths is our Brazilian artistic directors, who grew up in Rio's samba community. They bring their passion, knowledge, and expertise to ensure that our activities reflect the authentic samba culture. We strive to maintain the integrity and traditions of Brazilian samba, keeping the music, dance, and costumes true to their roots.

Support Needed: While we are an Arts Council England National Portfolio Organisation, we still rely on support from individuals, companies, and the community to continue our important work. Donations, fundraising efforts, and sponsorships are crucial for us to sustain our artistic programme and carry out our community and creative learning projects. Every contribution, no matter how big or small, makes a difference.
