Situated on the grounds of Collge Mont-Sacr-Coeur, Parcours du Mont is a private course that is open to the public outside of school hours. The course was established in 2013, when teacher and disk golf player Yves Desgreniers introduced the sport to his students by purchasing 3 portable baskets. Over the years, the course expanded to its current 18-hole layout, with the help of volunteers and supporters.
While playing at Parcours du Mont, visitors must be aware of the presence of dogs on the course, as some users have the habit of walking their dogs off-leash. Additionally, players are reminded to be mindful of other park users and to practice good etiquette while on the course.
The course layout is designed to avoid interfering with other park amenities, however, some holes may be temporarily unavailable due to ongoing activities. Players are encouraged to prioritize courtesy and move on to the next hole if needed.
Parcours du Mont offers a unique disk golf experience in a picturesque setting, surrounded by nature and tranquil surroundings. With a commitment to providing a fun and inclusive atmosphere for all players, the course continues to be a popular choice for disk golf enthusiasts in the Granby area.
