The night finishes with an hour of socialising and freestyle dancing to a wide range of music.

The cost for a three-hour session, including two classes and freestyle dancing, is £8. They also offer a special beginner's rate of £6 each week for the first five weeks. Classes are designed to be easy to pick up, with about three new beginner moves taught each week.

In addition to weekly classes, Parklands also hosts monthly freestyle dances. These events run from 8:00 pm until 11:45 pm and are an opportunity to dance to great music without formal classes. Often, themed nights like fancy dress or James Bond 007 add extra fun to the experience—dressing up is optional but popular, especially with the ladies.
