Parnell Cricket Club has a rich history, being affiliated since 1883, and has produced many fine players over the years. Since 1996, the club has been based at the Shore Road Reserve in Remuera, along with facilities including clubrooms, changing rooms, and outdoor nets. Additionally, the club has a pavilion and outdoor nets at Bloodworth Park, as well as the recently completed Terry Jarvis Indoor Training Centre with three indoor nets.
The club caters to players of all ages, from 4 1/2 years old to 65, with a Junior section and a Senior section. The Junior section has various grades from Grade 1 to Under 18, which align with a member's School Year at the start of the season. Girls are actively encouraged to participate and can play in mixed teams or opt for girls-only teams at younger ages. In the Senior section, aside from the premier teams, there are 1-day grades, social teams, and a Sunday afternoon T/20 competition for those who cannot commit to a full day's play.
The club also has a successful top Women's Reserve team that will form the core of the Club's top Women's team in the future.
