Sarah prioritises the care and well-being of the horses at Pennypot Stables. With large stables and excellent year-round grazing, the horses are kept happy and comfortable. From May to October, there are turnout spaces for the horses to enjoy the fresh air and open spaces.
A key feature of Pennypot Stables is the exceptional hacking opportunities nearby. With access to forest downs, byways, and optional jumps, riders can explore the picturesque countryside without venturing on the roads. The facilities at Pennypot Stables meet the needs of both riders and horse owners. There’s a secure level paddock for schooling and jumping in dryer months, though not usable in wet winter months. The stable also offers a secure tack room, tea and coffee facilities, and a place to rest. The dry feed store, hay store and availability of hay and haylage ensure that horses are well-cared for.
For convenience, the yard is fully lit for darker evenings and early mornings, and transport or collection services are available as needed.
Pennypot Stables offers packages to suit various needs. The full livery package is £90 for horses under 14.1hh and £100 for horses 14.2hh and above, covering all feeds, turnout, mucking out, bedding, and horse care. The part or assisted livery package is £55 for horses 14.1hh and under and £65 for horses 14.2hh and above, including hay/haylage, bedding, hard feed, and turnout options. Grass livery is available from May to October for £30 for horses under 14hh and £35 for horses over 14.1hh, with a pooh picking contribution required.
