Legs were lighter and stronger, and my core felt engaged and stable. I realised the immense benefits that Pilates could bring to my own body and wanted to share that with others.
I went on to complete my Pilates instructor training with the Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute in 2013. Since then, I have taught Pilates classes locally, specialising in various areas such as ante-natal and post-natal Pilates, Pilates for people with hypermobility, Pilates for runners, and Pilates for cyclists.
At Penrith Physio Pilates, I offer a range of services to cater to different needs. I provide private physiotherapy sessions to help with any joint or muscle problem, whether it's due to injury, illness, or gradual onset. I also offer specialised scar work and myofascial release, as well as rehabilitation advice for those recovering from major injuries or illnesses.
In addition to physiotherapy, I conduct 1:1 Pilates sessions. These sessions are perfect for individuals who require personalised attention, whether it's to correct their technique or to design a programme specific to their needs.
My passion for the outdoors and staying active shines through in my teaching. I spend much of my free time fell walking, lake swimming, biking, running, and paddleboarding. I understand firsthand the importance of being active and regaining one's ability following injury or illness.
