At Pershore Bowling Club, we believe in fostering a friendly and inclusive environment for all members. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced bowler, you will find a warm welcome and plenty of opportunities to participate in this wonderful sport. Our qualified coaches are on hand to provide guidance and support to new bowlers, ensuring they develop their skills and understanding of the game.

We have separate Ladies and Men's sections, each with their own calendar of events. Club afternoons and club evenings are held on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays and are open to all members who want to enjoy a casual game of bowls. These sessions are perfect for practising your skills, socialising with fellow members, and simply having a good time.

Internal competitions are a regular feature at Pershore Bowling Club, allowing members to test their abilities and compete for various trophies and honours. Additionally, we participate in both midweek and weekend league matches against other local clubs, providing an opportunity to showcase our skills and build friendly rivalries. “Friendlies” against other clubs, both at home and away, add another layer of enjoyment to our schedule.

Over the years, many of our members have achieved county honours, representing Pershore Bowling Club at the highest level of competition. Some have even gone on to qualify for national competitions, showcasing the talent and dedication within our club. We are proud to have also provided County Presidents on several occasions, further highlighting our contributions to the sport at a regional level.

One of our biggest assets is our green, which is renowned as one of the best playing surfaces in Worcestershire. Maintained to the highest standard, our green allows for smooth and consistent gameplay, appreciated by both our members and visiting teams. As a result, we are regularly sought after to host inter-county matches and welcome touring teams from across the UK.

Outside the main season, we indulge in short mat bowls within our clubhouse, providing a different experience for our members during the colder months. We also host various social events throughout the year, including our famous pantomime, which brings together members and their families for a night of fun and laughter.

To ensure our members have everything they need, we have a fully licenced bar offering a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. The bar is open during most matches, club playing sessions, and social evenings throughout the main season. During the winter, it is open for scheduled social events and Friday night rollups.
