Pilates at the Farm is located in a recently refurbished converted barn in Royal Wootton Bassett, Swindon. Jo, the studio owner and instructor, has a strong passion for health and wellbeing. She offers private, duo, and small group classes that are tailored to individual goals and needs. The studio provides a serene and peaceful environment, allowing clients to relax their minds while engaging in a total body workout.
The studio is well-equipped with a range of high-quality Pilates apparatus, including Reformers, Ladder Barrels, a Cadillac, Wunda Chair, Tower, BASI Arm Chair, and Spine Corrector. These equipment variations facilitate a diverse and dynamic Pilates experience, ensuring that clients can target different muscle groups and challenge their bodies in various ways.
Jo Orton, the lead instructor at Pilates at the Farm, is a certified Body Arts and Science (BASI) Pilates Instructor. She possesses extensive knowledge in pre/postnatal Pilates and is also certified in injuries and pathologies. This allows her to cater to clients with specific needs or conditions, providing them with a safe and effective Pilates practise.
Private classes are available at a rate of 40 per hour, offering one-on-one attention and personalised guidance. Duo classes, which involve two participants, are priced at 45 per hour. Small group classes, consisting of three individuals, are available at a rate of 60 per hour.
Pilates at the Farm offers group classes at a rate of 20 per person per hour. These classes are suitable for up to three participants and are recommended for individuals with an intermediate skill level. Initial one-on-one sessions are recommended to assess individual abilities and ensure a smooth transition into the group classes. Group classes are held on Mondays and Thursdays at 0900hrs.
