Pinewood Raceway

Pinewood Raceway, located in the Pinewood Activity Centre between Crowthorne and Wokingham, is Berkshire’s go-to spot for slot car racing. Stephen Clark, the organiser, oversees an exciting venue that caters to all ages above 6, hosting regular members' races and more.

For those looking to join in on the action, Pinewood Raceway provides cars and controllers, but serious racers are welcome to bring their own cars according to class rules and scrutineering guidelines.

The venue features two standout tracks. One, built by renowned track builder Janis Nabokins, spans 145 feet, includes 6 lanes, and supports classes such as Falcon Pro, G12, and Wing Car. The second, a 90-foot, five-lane track by Lee Parsons, is perfect for hard shell cars like NSR and Scalextric.

Pinewood Raceway isn't just about regular races. They host junior and senior national and international events and cater for private parties and special days. There’s also a small shop on-site where complete cars and spares are available, along with technical advice.

To book an event, a minimum of 10 participants is required. Prices start at £200 for 12-18 racers for a two-hour exclusive motor racing event. Group bookings run on evenings from Mondays to Thursdays, with weekends available by special arrangement.
