Pisces Swimming School at Ackworth School (Swimming Lessons)

Pisces Swimming School, nestled in the heart of West Yorkshire at Ackworth School, has been a cornerstone in teaching children to swim since 1996. Jackie, the founder, and a seasoned expert with over 35 years in the leisure industry, started this journey and now shares the helm with her family. Robin, Joe, and Alice are all part of the dedicated team, ensuring over 1,600 pupils are taught each week across their three venues: Ackworth School near Pontefract, Silcoates School in Wakefield, and The Grammar School at Leeds in North Leeds.

With small class sizes and experienced, friendly instructors, Pisces Swimming School prioritises safety. Every instructor is qualified by either the Amateur Swimming Association or STA and has undergone thorough DBS checks. Additionally, the school proudly affiliates with the Royal Life Saving Society UK.

The goal is to nurture confident swimmers who not only have strong strokes but also the necessary skills to enjoy various water-based activities. The school is renowned for offering top-notch tuition in a safe environment.

For those already part of the community, remember to secure your spot for the Spring Term 2018. Payments should be made during re-enrolment week, from Monday 4th to Sunday 10th December. After this period, any remaining spots will be offered to those on the waiting list. Payments can be made in cash or by credit/debit card at the poolside desk or over the phone.
