With acres of beautiful farmland and hacking opportunities, our horses enjoy a varied and enjoyable training regime. Our facilities include a fabulous 5-furlong all-weather hill gallop, a deep sand round gallop, and a large indoor school. This allows our horses to train in different environments and develop their fitness while keeping them happy and fresh.
Richard Bandey, our racehorse trainer, has a hands-on approach and rides every horse he trains. This gives him a genuine feel of their progress and allows him to provide individual attention to each horse. Our training programme includes schooling in the arena, where horses are encouraged to work in an outline and taught to jump grids and poles. This not only improves their core stability and strength but also prepares them for a successful career beyond racing.
