At Pole Active, we offer a range of classes to cater to different interests and goals. In our Pole Fitness classes, you'll learn various tricks, spins, and combos that will help you build strength and grace while spinning around the pole. These classes are suitable for absolute beginners as well as those with more experience. We also offer private classes, 4-week courses, and pay-as-you-go classes to accommodate different schedules and preferences.
If you're looking to improve your flexibility and core strength, our Splits & Strength class is perfect for you. This class is open to all levels and does not require any prior flexibility. Our experienced instructors will guide you through a series of exercises that can be replicated at home, allowing you to enhance your flexibility and develop a stronger core.
For those who enjoy dancing and want to learn choreographed routines, our Pole Flow class is ideal. This class focuses on fluid movement and encourages you to express yourself freely around the pole. While heels are encouraged, they are not essential, so you can feel comfortable wearing whatever makes you feel confident.
In addition to our regular classes, we also offer e-gift cards that can be purchased online or at our studio. These gift cards make for the perfect present for any occasion, allowing your loved ones to experience the joy of pole fitness.
Our dance school is conveniently located at 30 Cowper Road, Bournemouth BH9 2UJ. We offer both private and group classes, making it easy for you to choose a setting that fits your preferences. Additionally, we also cater to hen parties and birthday parties, providing a unique and exciting experience for you and your friends.
At Pole Active, we take pride in our team of passionate instructors. Becca, our owner and head instructor, has 18 years of pole dancing experience and has been teaching for 15 years. She is joined by Jade, a qualified artistic women's gymnastic coach, and Gosia, who is currently studying for her Xpert Pole Fitness qualification. Cherie, our Pole Flow instructor, has a stunning unique style and specialises in Pole Flow and Heels classes.
Each instructor brings their own expertise and creativity to our classes, ensuring a diverse and enriching experience for our students.
Pole Active was born out of a passion for pole dancing and the desire to introduce it as a fitness discipline. Our founder, Becca, discovered her love for pole dancing in 2005 while working as a dancer in Europe. She quickly became captivated by the art form and the strength required to execute challenging moves and flawlessly perform. In 2008, Becca decided to merge her passion for pole dancing with her interest in fitness, and Pole Active was founded.
Since then, Becca has been dedicated to providing a supportive and non-judgmental environment for students to progress and achieve their goals.
