Located in the beautiful Adelaide Hills Council region, Gumeracha Football Club is dedicated to providing a fun and inclusive environment for kids to learn and develop their AFL skills.
With the generous sponsorship from the Police Credit Union, our league has been able to thrive and support over 3,000 players from 19 clubs across the area. From Kangarilla to Kersbrook and Blackwood to Murray Bridge, our league spans a wide range of towns, offering opportunities for everyone to get involved in the beloved sport of Australian Rules Football.
Despite the challenges faced due to the pandemic and the devastating fires that affected our region, the Police Credit Union Hills Football League remains a strong platform for local communities to come together and enjoy the competitive experience of playing football. Many talented players have had their start in our league and have gone on to achieve great success in higher levels of the sport such as the SANFL and the AFL.
Our league consists of two divisions – Division One, encompassing larger towns in the hills, and the Country Division, comprising smaller towns. Each division has its own minor round and finals programs, ensuring a fair and exciting competition for all teams. We offer different age groups, including Junior Primary, Under 12, Mini Colts, Junior Colts, Senior Colts, Senior A and B grades. Additionally, female football is also on the rise, with Under 17 and open age competitions now established.
