Dive into adventure with Pontefract Scuba Club! Whether you're an underwater novice or a seasoned diver, Jamie and the crew have got you covered. They're all about making scuba diving super safe and fun, with access to some cracking dive sites across the UK and beyond.
Pontefract Scuba Club is a welcoming bunch. They open their arms to anyone aged 12 to 70+, whether you're male or female. So, if you love the ocean and want to meet like-minded folks, this is your place.
But it's not just about diving. Jamie loves a good party and organises heaps of social events throughout the year: think summer BBQs, Christmas parties, and even Photo & Film Awards. Fancy a curry night, bowling, or a trip to a comedy club or the Ocean Film Festival? They've got that sorted too.
Members get to enjoy top-notch facilities, including a spanking new Coltri Compressor. Free air fills and discounted Nitrox are on the menu, and if you fancy learning the ropes, there's training available. Or, you can just get one of the helpful members to sort your gas fill – might cost you a drink at the bar!
Jamie ensures the fun's for the whole family too. While you're diving, your partner and kids can splash about in the pool or chill in the viewing area with a hot drink. Many trips are family-friendly, so everyone gets to join in the adventure.
Join the fun every Monday night (excluding bank hols). Fortnightly sessions at Aspire@ThePark pool kick off at 7.45pm, perfect for training or just having a splash about. On the alternate Mondays, meet up at Byram Park Sports & Social Club from 7.30pm for some diving chat and planning. Newbies, don't miss out on a Try Dive with Jamie’s expert instructors.
